Brain Box

 we were leaning about make Electrical things with the brain box like this kind of fan and a beeper thing.

It was easy to make the fane and putting it together and working together in a team.

It was hard to put the beeper together and getting the parts out of the brain box.

Next time I will try to make some thing different in the brain box.

Lemon Battery

 today in science monday the 16th august we were doing the lemon powered battery and we needed alligator clips and 8 lemons but we only got a little glow out of 8 lemons. We used little circle battery's and we made our own alligator clips. We couldn't get the three volt light with the lemons.

I enjoyed puting the zinc nails in the lemons and joining them on to each other.

Acrostic Poem About Spring

We are learning to write acrostic poem about Spring.  We used the first letter of the word SPRING to start the sentence, we looked outside to see what we could put into our poem.

It was easy to come up with the sentence because we see the daffodils on our daily run, the lambs are in the paddock and spring is all around us.

It was difficult to spell the different words like-daffodil and impatient but my mum helped me.

Next time I will try and make it rhyme more and include more simile, metaphors and punctuation.

The Coin Drop

 

How can coins, a glass cup and paper help us test Newton's first law of motion?

An object at rest stays at rest and object in motion stays in motion with same speed and in the same direction unless acted upon by an unbalanced/outside force.

The law of inertia and gravity work on the coins, the law states that an object at rest will stay at rest unless an opposing force is acted upon it.

 

M&M stacking

 We were leaning about ... stacking M&M's and seeing how much M&M's we can stack. Vinny stacked the most he stacked three two times so the total for vinny was 6.

It was easy to... get two and when I try to get three it will never make it except vinny with he two 3s.

It was hard to... get three M&Ms stacked and not not knock it over.

next time I will... try and get as much i can 

bath bombs

We were learning about...new chemicals and ingredients mixing them together to make a bath boom what actually works.

It was easy to...put the bath bomb in to the shape and mix the chemical and ingredients in the bole

It was hard to...shape the bath boom in to a ball.

Next time I will... only choose one colour so it will be easier and faster.

colour changing milk

We were learning about what will happen if you put food colouring mixed with milk and put a ear bud with soap on it in to the milk and food colouring.

I found It easy to put the ear bud in with the milk and food colouring.

I found it hard to make the food colouring to touch the ear bud.

Next time I will  try to make the food colouring touch the ear bud.
